Grace was a charter member, organizer, and third employee of Jamestown Farmers Union Co-op Credit Union, now known as First Community Credit Union. She was the first female vice president in the state. She served the credit union membership for 18 years as an employee and continued to be active on the credit union’s credit committee for a number of years after retirement.

Harold E. Helferich |
Harold served as president of Capital Credit Union from 1966-1988. During his tenure at the credit union, Capital Credit Union was the sixth in the nation to offer share drafts, among the first 10 in the nation to offer Visa cards, offered ATM service in 1977, and the first in the state to offer audio response in 1986. He also served on the North Dakota State Credit Union Board from 1981 to 1988. |
